There is a concern among many members of the HC, and our beloved Capt Tom that this guy could be XKurtX, a MAJOR troublemaker in PoL's past (thank goodness not the present). Below is the letter I sent to inform him that his application has been denied.

Hail Stalker,

My name is Gabriel(PoL), Guild Security Officer for the Paladins of Light. It is my duty to see that our guild remains a safe and fun environment that members can game in without fear of PKs, hacks, cheaters, etc.

I am writing you this letter to inform you that your application for membership has been denied. The reason for this decision is based on prior experiences with a former member who used the alias "Thirdeye". This person caused quite a bit of havoc within the guild's walls, and we just cannot allow any possibility of his reemergence into our community. Unfortunately there is no possible way to know whether you are or are not the person in question, so we must err on the side of caution and regretfully deny your application.

I hope that you can understand our position in protecting our members, and I wish you the best in finding a guild family that will suit your needs.
