Subject: Wife of 1940s USAFB alum Jack Thomas

Julia Thomas, wife to 1946-1947 USAFB trombone player Jack Thomas, died this Wednesday at 2:30 a.m.

The entire family is having a rough time because Julia was such an active and key person to most of our extended family. I'm sure many of you have gone through your own such losses and my heart goes out to any who are doing so now.

Messages for Dad and our family can be mailed to us at: Jack Thomas, p.o.box 366, Dowagiac, MI 49047. Our phone number is 269-782-2065. Someone is there most times and Dad is there in the evening.

On the positive side, Jack and Julie have two great-grandsons, the newest being Taven. He was born just over a week ago and is their grandson David's boy.

We appreciate the messages we have received and continue to receive.
