IN THIS WORLD A MILLION YEARS AGO
THE VOLCANOES STILL RUMBLED AND THE LAVA DID FLOW.
THE CREATURES WERE FIERCE AND THEY MADE MAN AWARE.
ESCAPING THEIR WRATH WAS A CONSTANT NIGHTMARE.
THIS WORLD BEGAN CHANGING FOR MAN AND BEAST
FOOD BECAME SCARCE NO MORE WOULD THEY FEAST.
THE WEATHER HAD CHANGED IN A MIGHTY WAY
FORCING TRIBES TO WONDER AND GO ASTRAY.
ANIMAL HERDS MOVED SOUTH TO ESCAPE THE COLD
BUT SOME STAYED BEHIND BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO OLD.
THE WORLD THAT HAD EXISTED HAS CHANGED SINCE THEN
IT HAD DIVIDED INTO PLACES AND NEW LIVE HAD BEGAN.
TODAY WE HAVE COUNTRIES ALL OVER THIS WORLD
AND THOSE TRIBES HAVE ADAPTED IN SPITE OF THE HURLS.
SOME BEASTS HAVE REMAINED TO FRIGHTEN US STILL
BUT THIS PART OF LIFE GIVES MOST JUST A THRILL.
FROM ALLIGATORS IN THE SWAMPS
TO SHARKS IN THE SEA
BUT THE CRUELTY OF THIS WORLD HAS REMAINED FOR YOU AND ME.
