"This is the only other pack I've seen besides mine, but its great! Does your whole family live here?"

"It used to, but not anymore. My brother and sisters are starting to move out, and I really can't blame them, though sometimes I wish they'd stay. You see, mom's not too happy about it. She used to be so gentle and understanding, but she's turned completely. Now she seems to think all we do we do to hurt her. She's shouting at everybody, chasing them away from her when I think she needs them most. Now Washita, my oldest sister, has moved out, and Orion and Artic, my twin sister, are both unsure where to stay. They've both got mates, and if mom continues like this, they'll probably follow them to their homes rather than stay. And dad's not even around anymore..." He sighs again. "I wish you'd come to visit us just a few weaks earlier. We used to be so happy and.. harmonic. Now the family is splitting up."

*She smiles softly*
"And just to think I'm almost suffocating in all my 'family togetherness'. But maybe something worrying your mom, on her mind maybe. And your here for her, so I'm sure she can't be too mad about that."
*A small frown appears on her muzzle. Acholan seemed sad but there there didn't seem to be much she could do to help.*
"I wish I knew what you could do, or someway i could help."

"You're helping just by being here." He gives her a small smile. "I should probably not push my family problems on you, and I'm sorry to do so, but I just need someone to talk to."

*She smiles*
"That's ok, I'll always be here for you to talk to."
*She begins to lean forward, wanting to give him a friendly nuzzle, but instead hesitates and leans back again*

He notices what just happend - or not happend - but doesn't say anything, just looks calmly into her eyes. "Thank you, Sierra. That means a lot to me."

She shifts her paws uncomfortably and gives a small smile as her ears flatten nervously on her head.
"Well you always have your siblings and father to talk to and I'm sure their pretty close."

*She cocks her head slightly and frowns, knowing she wasn't very good at lying, especially to Acholan. Her eyes look downward, wanting so bad to tell the male how she really felt, but then again not wanting to for fear of him not liking her back*
"No, it's not you...It's nothing, really."

"But you would tell me if it was, right? If there is anything I can help you with, I..." He pauses for a second, unsure about how to say this, then continues. "I care, Sierra. About you." He bites his lip as he looks at her, wondering if he only made things worse now, but his eyes are calm and warm as they meet hers.

*She stares down at the ground for awhile, trying to make up her mind of what to say. You only live once, she thinks to herself, giving a silent sigh*
"Acholan, the reason I'm a little uptight is because...I love you. And I know you'd never like me the same way, so i guess I got a little..."
*She stops, now trying to think of a word to describe it. But finding she can't, she shrugs it off*
"It's no big deal though, I'm over it. And I don't think it's something you can really help me with."
*She shifts her paws again and continues looking down, her face turning a brilliant shade of magenta. When she felt the blushing go down a bit, her eyes peer upward at the male, now wanting to know his reply, yet dreading it all the same*

He had wished for it to be like this, but still it came as a surprise that it was. He needs a moment to get controll of his feeling before he looks back up. When he does, he has a warm smile in his face that makes his eyes shine. "What if I told you I love you too, that I have done it ever since I first met you and will promise to continue loving you until I die? Would that help?"

*Her eyes widen slightly, in both shock and joy. She sits silently for a moment, soaking in what he had just said*
"I guess I wouldn't believe it, but you'd never lie to me."
*She smiles softly*
"I've always felt that way too, I just was too shy to admit it."

*She gives a teasing smile and titls her head to the side*
"Does this mean we're mates? Or do i have to ask?"

"That reminds me, I gotta get to know your family. And you should meet mine." He looks around for his parents. "I dunno where dad is, but mom seems to be over there, talking to Agma." Talking, not shouting, he thinks relieved.

*She smiles and nods. From what Acholan had said about his mother before had made her a little nervous about meeting his parents, but Lil' Travita looked fine from far away. She shrugs to herself, hoping her parents would be nice to the male...and to the fact that she wanted to leave Moonlight Sonata for this pack*
"Could i meet yours first? Since we're right here and all. Also, i want to join this pack, i'll leave my own. If that's ok with your parents."

"Sure, they'll love to have you here! And so will I, of course." He smiles. "I don't know where dad is, but let's go talk to mom." He nuzzles her quickly before he leads the way over to his mother and brother.
