Klar, kann man natürlich auch.
Komplexe Figuren oder objekte brauchst du nicht umbedingt mit glVertex zu konstruieren. Du kannst auch 3d Objekte laden. Texturen laden gibts im Nehe tutorial nr. 6
und wenn du milkshape hast, kannst du damit 3d objekte erstellen. Ich glaube bei den 3dcoders gibts en tool das du benutzen kannst umd objekte zu laden. (nicht ins programm).
sonst schau mal im redbook nach. wie das genau funktioniert.
