Klar kann man zum Beispiel in Milkshape 3D Objekte erstellen, aber im OpenGL werden sie trotzdem mit glVertex übergeben. Man muss die Zahlenwerte halt nicht "von Hand" eingeben. Das ist der Unterschied.
