Subject: The Real Report

Here is a report of what really happened on the area tribs this weekend. This is true honest information, not a pipe dream made up by wanna be experts.
Salmon River fishing is very slow. Talked to five driftboat captains. The best catch they had in two days was three fish. Three of the guides never touched a fish. THESE ARE VETERAN, ETHICAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, GUIDES. The sudden drop in water temp has shut the fish down, but things will improve this week.
Oswego River is still blown out. Browns are being caught in the harbor but conditions are still poor.

Black River 7000cfs, water starting to drop. A few fish were caught there on Sunday.

Small tribs
North and South Sandy. Fresh fish in both. Get there early before all the poachers, and you will do a few fish

Maxwell Creek - What a Joke! This stream should be shut down. The DEC could make there monthly wages, just by standing on the bridge. There was plenty of fish there. Currently, they have all been extracted.

Weather for the week looks real good. Troy.
