Thanks to Maureen for contacting us and to Peggy and Diamond Paws for crossposting. As the author of the petition and ultimately the one who will be putting the petition forward, it was originally set up for Aussies, but it appears that many are slow to sign or just cannot be bothered, please disregard the request only Aussie dog owners sign it. As the public submission period, is coming up in a few days and lasts for approx 10 weeks, I have no problem to anyone signing the petition.

Many of you may not be aware but Queensland has introduced BSL and it is havingeffects flow on to the point of any breedbeing involved in an attack, to being targetted.
Queensland has gone from being only concerned with banning four breeds (the infamous four), where australia has no official record of the Tosa, the Fila, or the Dogo ever entering our shores anyway.
To targetting the Neo, the great Dane, the Bull mastiff, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, the Doberman, the rotty, and any breed over the height of 28 inches or the weight of 140 pounds to be lassed as a dangerous dog.

The EDBA has started the petition to urge the Western australian government, to not follow in Queenslands footsteps, the petition is only part of our overall submission, and as I said before, I will welcome any signatures, addresses are not needed and comments are optional.
Thankyou
Regards
from Downunda
