Subject: LATEST ON DELAWARE FROM MARSHA



I went to the public hearing yesterday at legislative hall. i think it was a very positive meeting. i had faxed Terry Spence's office before hand, about the term "pit bull" in the first whereas. Someone else also mentioned at the meeting that they wanted it taken out, and I think he was going to comply. There were other changes people wanted made, but noone was against the breed specifics being taken out. He was very nice, and I think he wants to come up with the best Dangerous Dog law possible, that is fair to everyone. He was going to go ahead and present it to the house is it was, but said it won't be voted on until January, since they go out of session 6/30. He plans on doing more research, and making more changes to it between now and then. I put my name in for the task force that he is proposing, but honestly, I don't know if I am qualified to do something like that. I am sorry I missed your meeting Sunday night!!
