My son has been deployed since jan. 10.2003. It was the hardest thing that I have ever had to do in my life. To let him go to a place where he will be in harms way. While he was on the ship USS BATAAN he sent many e-mails and then they had to stop because he was going into Kuwait. It is forever hearing any kind of word from him and I am so worried about him and the other young men. I don't know how to get through the day. If I think of him all the time, all I do is want to cry for him, so I try to keep my mind busy and try to go on with my life and then I feel so guilty when I do try to go on, so I find myself crying because I feel so guilty. A lot of time I just don't know what to do. I am very proud of my son for fighting for peace and the right of others. I pray every day that they will come home soon. I am a mother from Pa. We as mothers must pray every day for our son and dauthers safe return.
