Without any hesitation, George Purefoy, our City Manager, and his assistant, Ron Patterson, along with our city attorney, Richard Abernathy working out the legal details. The negotiations began 5-6 years ago, and then began the tennis match with Plano also vying for our prized. It was George Purefoy all the way who finally made the deal breaker that General Growth could not any longer resist.

Yes, the sitting city council, and Mayor, Bob Warren, were giving him all the official support required, but the actual negotiations and deal making came from our city manager.
