On Tuesday, the comprehensive plan goes before P&Z. According to Mr. Witt (city staff), these items were last discussed in the public hearing....

"Discussion on individual's comments addressed the following issues: how the jetport should be treated in the text (please see attachment), landowners concerns over rezoning, minimum separation between multifamily complexes, density of single family developments, retail studies for new retail zoning, removal of all references to environmental considerations in the text, and what constitutes mixed use development."

There are quality of life issues for everyone in that one sentence. There will be tremendous pressure to reword the master plan in order to satisfy various groups. I expect Tuesdays P&Z meeting to be a long one.
