Subject: Prayer & Help Needed Badly for Bereaved Mother

Brothers and sisters, I come to you tonight with something the Lord has put on my heart to do. I hope that this will not be seen as gratuitous solicition, as it is a very, very real need. I apologize profusely to the moderators for this and pray it will stay.

A young mother who works at my local Waffle House has a 3-month old son who was called to Glory last week due to accidental suffocating in his crib. Of course she has no insurance and no way to pay for the child's funeral, slated for next week. There is a lonely jar at the cash register for her with the grand total of $5 in it.

Brethren, I know far too well the agony of losing a child, and the additional grief of having no funds to give the precious one a decent burial. First off, from my heart I ask for your prayers. This poor mother will need superhuman strength even to call upon her faith...this I know.

But more, I ask...please, moderators, don't condemn me for this...that each of you asks your flock for a special love tithe this week for the family. Just a dollar here and there will help so much.
