Subject: Has Anyone Read DaVinci Code?

Blessings to you all ! There has obviously been a lot of flak in the media regarding this book, and while I wish to avoid evil if I can, I also wish to know what I'm "up against". The media has lauded this book/movie, and the Christian media has slammed it, but neither goes into serious detail re: their opinions. If it is as blasphemous as is suggested, I don't wish to read it, but I would like to have a general idea as to its precepts, as I am certain I will be asked about it at some point.

Have any of my brothers & sisters here read it or at least heard the particular arguments? Thank you and God bless you.
