Subject: It Has Been a While - But Here I Am

Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

It has been a while since I last posted to the group. I took a while off the Internet to reflect and listen for the Father’s voice. It was a time that I desperately needed, and I have come back fully refreshed.

I have a few praise reports and a prayer request for my mother:

Praise Report #1) After over 4 years of being out of work (not including my company), I was offered a job on 09/13/06 with ADT Security. I went in on 09/12/06 for the interview and was told that it would be about a week before any call backs are made. Around 10:30 AM on 09/13/06. I received the call from the HR Manager offering me a position with the company, pending that I pass a typing test, drug test and a background check. I am a bit nervous about the typing test, but I have put my trust in God. I will begin training on 09/25/06.

Praise Report #2) Many of you may recall that my call completely died on me a few months back. After putting the word out about needing a new car, one came available. One of my mom’s customers (mom is a cab driver) contacted mom and told her that she (the customer) is unable to drive anymore due to medical reasons. Short story, mom will be driving the customer to and from doctors appointments for a specific time period, in return a 1997 Kia Sephia is now in my name. It was truly a blessing from God. All that needed to be replaced was the Alternator belt – other than that, it runs like a champ.

On 09/13/06, another one of mom’s customers called her inquiring if we still needed a car. Mom explained that we did get a car, but a second vehicle may be needed (see prayer report). Long story short, we went and picked up a 1991 Ford Explorer today – In fairly good shape. We have to get everything changed over (tag, insurance, etc). Another blessing from God – and was not even expecting it.

Praise Report #3) My business partners and I have been praying about our company – as it has been slow starting. A year ago, we decided that we would give it a go for a year and see what happens. That was October 8, 2005. When we were ready to close up shop (so to speak), two opportunities came open that my partner jumped on. Both opportunities have the means to really make an impact on our lives and the lives of others. I will not go into detail here, but there are great opportunities for fundraising opportunities for organizations – something I have been praying to be able to do for a long time. Both are Internet and “real life” companies. Please pray that if it be God’s will, that they will truly make an impact for the Kingdom.

Prayer Request for Mom) As stated above, mom is a cab driver. She has been driving a cab for approximately 5 years now, and truly loves it. However, her job is in jeopardy. Without going into detail, please pray that God will have favor and that His will be done. Also, she is still fighting what seems to be a losing battle with the local union. She has done everything but give up. Please pray for mom’s peace of mind, her health and her emotional stability.

For the longest time, mom has worked hard at what she does, to ensure that I remain in college. Well, I am taking courses online for my Bachelors Degree in Operations Management. I am praying that with my new job and the opportunities that have been given to me, that she will be able to “rest”, although I know she will not. Again, please lift her in prayer.

Well, that is what has been going on. Please forgive the length of the letter. I want to thank you all for the past prayers and for the continued prayers. You all remain in mine.

In His Name and for His Glory,
Robert S. Brozoski
