Subject: Need Prayer

Brothers and Sisters, please pray for guidance for me. My best friend of 32 years' marriage is in trouble, and since she will not go to counseling, I have been trying to counsel with her husband, who I also consider a friend. The upshot is that she now thinks, at best, that I was trying to undermine her marriage (in truth trying to help SAVE it), and at worst, that there is something "going on" with her husband and myself. She is impossible to talk to. I need prayers for peace for this family and guidance as to what, other than prayer, I can do next to help heal the rift that I have obviously helped cause in my quest to help.

I realize that God has His timing and that we should rejoice when we are persecuted, but it is not for me that I ask this. If I have done something amiss, obviously I ask forgiveness from the Lord and from my brethren...but I most
wish for the healing process to begin.

In Christ's name I humbly ask your opinions, your prayers, and your advice. God bless you all.
