Subject: God is OUR Eterntal Light

“The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.”

Isaiah 60:19


One day, we will not need the sun and moon for our light because Jesus shall be our Light. This verse is talking about the sun and moon in the sky. We don’t have to wait until that day to have the Light of Jesus in our heart.

For years my heart was filled with darkness and despair, then one day I opened my heart to Jesus and He took all the darkness away and implanted His Light of Love for Eternity. There is nothing and nobody that can ever take the Light of His Love from me. No matter what is going on in your life, no matter what you face daily, NOONE can take god away from you.

Whether you have things in your life or not that you shouldn't, god is still there for you, all you have to do is turn to Him, the light of God can shine forth in your life today, you do not have to wait. The Lord is an everlasting light that you will never need any other "false" lights in your life, if you only have Him. The Alcohol, the addictions, the needs you have in life, God can and will provide the filling of that void you have. Praise God, I thank HIM for the wonderful day, that He filled me with HIS Love, and compassion, that surpasses anything man can provide!!

I too thank Pastor Steve for all those "late night, candle burning" times He spends for God. The vision god has given Him, is awesome to be able to bring up a generation of soldiers for the Lord. UCMI accomplishes alot of things in the world today that is needed, and fulfills the void where many "modern" churches and schools fall WAY short.... Thank You Brother Steve, and UCMi for your obedience to the holy Spirit's direction!
