...and Amen. For those of us who came to the Lord after a life of egregious sin, His humanity...and therefore His mercy...is all the more poignant. This is not to say that one cannot know Him without having lived such a life, but that through our own healing we can help to heal others. Many would look upon such a life...and then the message...as being a "Do as I say, not as I do" proposition, but it is truly "Look, brother, I fell over that rock and hurt myself, so take care not to do the same".

Yet, like children, sometimes we must all make that mistake for ourselves...but, like parents, we must also be sure that the warning has been given even if not always heeded. As it can save a physical life, it can save our eternal life as well. To put medicine on a wound sometimes hurts even more, but it is necessary for healing...and thus, as Isaiah said, "By His wounds we are healed".

I thank You, Father, for this forum and the love and support it gives to those seeking Your Kingdom in the Holy Name of Your Son Our Lord Jesus.
