Interesting, I was assuming that Ourchurch.com is a reputable free christian webhosting service. Thanks for pointing out the linkage to a gay association. This posting should be sent to many other's here who utilize that webhosting service...

In as far as taking interest in antiquity... the bible itself is not a recent publication... it's codes and laws predate those of chivalry even that of medieval europe. Many of the laws o god can be found in older religions of the middle east, from which Christianity prung from.

In as far as it being Occult... I have a hard time defining what you call occult... The Knights of Columbus, a catholic - christian based group organized on the principles and structure of the Templar/Crusading Knights... I find what I was intiating very similiar in structure...

Looking at the strict definition of Occult taken from most common texts - occult defines as...

"oc·cult ( P ) Pronunciation Key (-klt, klt)
adj.
Of, relating to, or dealing with supernatural influences, agencies, or phenomena.
Beyond the realm of human comprehension; inscrutable.
Available only to the initiate; secret: occult lore. See Synonyms at mysterious.

If we delve farther into occult studies, occult is the rituals and followings of satan... What I had organized was hardly that. The Order was an adoption of the Apostles Creed, Declaration of oath to protect the meek and vulnerable... To seek out injustice and wrongs in our society and try to change those things for the better... There is no "magic" or "invokation" of ill spirits like Wicca or Paganism...

I hope that you don't find things such as honor, charity, courage and determiantion to be Occult... Otherwise a lot of noble and powerful things that effect human condition have just become works of satan...

Anyhow that is just my humble opinion on that matter... If you can point out what is occult about this matter I would appreciate your enlightenment on this matter.
