To My Brother in Christ--Brad, What this lady with the visions of angels and demons most probably has is the spiritual gift of "discerning of spirits."(1Cor. 12:10) A very good Christian friend of mine has this gift. My friend is very in tune to this spiritual world that we live in. She has encountered small demons in her house as well as in local churches she has been a part of as "member" and as "minister." She has been in full-time ministry most of her adult life.

This is a spiritual gift that is indeed very unique, and I believe is only given to certain people for a specific purposes. The Apostle Paul encourages us to "make Love your aim, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy." (1Cor. 14:1 RSV) Why is prophesying important--so that we may encourage one another and build each other up. (verse 12 of 1Cor.14)
I would encourage you to study up on spiritual gifts.

Also realize that we cannot mix "oil and water": we as spiritual people cannot go to a secular doctor or so-called "psychologist". Jay Adams, the founder of the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors, plainly says in his teachings that we must rely upon Biblical principals only and not go to worldly systems. If you haven't taken UCMI's course on Biblical Counseling, please do--it has helped me tremendously in dealing with a variety of situations.

I realize that I am responding to your post some months later; however, I am growing in Christ and discernment as well.
