Jahanci grasped Ice Mist's mane and she spoke in rushed tones, her words spinning together and wavering as she tried to relive the Dream that seemed to come and go..
Nazgul lead her through a chamber where bodies were strewn precariouslly. His hand was deahly cold. His voice floated almost musiclly to her ears.

Jah stopped retelling the tale, for the scene of horror ly ahead.
Moving swiftly she leaped from Ice Mist's back and spread her wings.
Taking the last few feet in a wing beat she landed before her brother...a hand to her mouth.

Chrestomanci's eyes closed for a moment, then reopened. A drop of blood greeted his lips and he bared his fangs in response. Quickly, instict grasped the Wraith and his fangs drove into the Death Angel's flesh.

Jahanaci watched her brother with intent eyes. Maybe Nazgul was wrong?

Chres seemed to regain some strength and movement and his fangs dug deeper.

And that was when the Dark Rider appeared, the damned.
He stood behind Windris, out of her and Chres' vision, the other though..could see him in all his glory.
He looks different then he had looked. Still shrouded in his ebony cloak, his hands were more skeletal then before and his facade, now shown, was of the elven-like fairness, save only eye sockets, no luminous elven eyes grace him.
He sneered at them, and a bow appeared in his hand. The very bow that had thrown Chrestomanci into Death's grip.

Jah got to her feet, shielding thosebehind her with spreading pinions.

Suddenly Chres released Windris and pulled her to her feet. Still staggering the Wraith moved back, taking the Death Angel with him.
He almost fell with the exertion of just moving but he managed to stay upright and keep Windris out of harms way with his own form.

Nazgul held out a hand and an ebony orb appeared.
