"After," the brute replied, returning the kiss for a brief second before he turned to his sister. "Now, give me the baby-," at his words Jah recoiled away, becoming very protective over the babe in her arms. Chres sighed, "I'm not going to hurt it girl, give it to Windris if that'll make you feel safer."
Jah kissed the top of the babe's head, gently handing her to Windris.
Chres helped his sister into a sitting position, careful with his movement around her..for she acted like a flighty animal.
"Now, you must feed, Jah, and it is freely offered." He tilted his neck to the side, exposing his jugular to her fangs.
Jah felt instinct brush at her mind, she did need to feed. She slowly got to her knees and tentativly her fangs dug into Chres's flesh. Chres closed his eyes, feeling his blood seep away.
Jah's feeding became frenzied, her fingers gripping his neck cutting into his flesh.
Chres suddenly shoved her away, shivering with the sudden loss of most of his life's blood.
Jah lay back again, head resting in Arkados' lap, gasping.
Chres's facade was deathly pale, his veins visible throughout his almost transparent flesh. He struggled to Windris, but fell into the sands, unconcious.
