Femme landed upon the outer cliffs of the desert, though she wasn't as graceful as she normally was. How could this have happened? Why? The questions is whispered aloud to herself. God, she was a fool. She had gotten what she wanted and now she regreted it more than she ever thought one could regret something. She hated herself. Her hand slips to her still flat belly, her eyes closing and silent tears running down her cheeks. Her mind called out achingly to her friend....Arkados. She knew he wouldn't come though. He had warned her; he was disappointed in her for giving up. She deserved whatever came her way. Wasn't that what he had said? Her heart felt as though it were tearing in two, and she couldn't hide it. She just wasn't strong enough anymore.....
