Subject: Return

The faint sound of pounding hoof-beats signify the piebald stallion's return. The swift beast gallops parallel to the crashing waves of the blue-green ocean occasionally splashing in a particularly large wave's aftermath. Despite his vigorous gallop, he is indeed quite fatigued. A few crimson hued battle marks have found a place 'pon his sleek coat. His gallop slows eventually as he comes near the placid lagoon. He watches the herd happily and tosses his head into the tropical wind, warding off his forelock. Oh, how he loved to be back home at last! He neighs a greeting and rears, yet only half-way, hooves hitting the sandy ground with a muffled 'thud'. His chest heaves as he breathes heavily, tail held high, blowing in the breeze.
