What/who impacted Austria?

1919- Treaty of Versailles where Austrian lands were taken away and Austrian power was reduced tremendously
1919- Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye between victors of ww1 and Austria said Austro-Hungary must be dissolved, Austria could not enter into political or economic union with Germany without agreement of League of Nations
1919- Sex Disqualification Act opened the way for women to enter professions from which they had previously been excluded, but women who had taken men’s jobs during the war gradually lost or abandoned their employment
1920- Treaty of Trianon
1921- Little Entente forms seeking security against Germany and Soviet Union, including Czechoslovakia, Romania, and Yugoslavia by signing alliances, protection against Hungary and Bulgaria as well demanding territory back from Treaty of Versailles
1927- Bloody Friday where police killed about a hundred striking workers during demonstrations by Socialists in Vienna protesting rightwing violence, split between left and right
1931- May of this year the largest Austrian bank failed due to depression and immediately entailed the collapse of several German banks to which it owed money and led to a general financial panic
1933- Parliamentary crisis as presidents resigned and no one to fill the spots. Engelbert Dolfus, chancellor of Austria, took advantage and began to control the country. Since Dolfus was against German Nationalist Party that wanted German rule, he prevented this unification of Austria and Germany
1934- Austrian Civil War
1938-a lot of the German speaking people in Austria wanted to unite with the new German republic after the Austro-Hungarian empire collapsed after WWI. However, the Treaty of Versailles didn't allow the unification. so later after Adolph became the German chancellor, he talked with Kurt von Schuschnigg (he was the Austrian Chancellor, and after an argument, he resigned and was replaced by Arthur Seyss-Inquart, the leader of the Austrian Nazi Party.) Seyss-Inquart let the German army occupy Austria and hence they were annexed
