you would clarify the statements you throw out as to who you are labeling what.

Personally just b/c a certain poster agrees or likes what I have said doesn't bring the message under the dominion of their label (whether placed upon them by others or they willingly own it). You agree and like things Mary says, but that doesn't make you a catholic, nor does it make her statements protestant.

Further the gnostic label means so many things to so many people, I refrain from labeling people gnostic. They might have tendencies to gnosticism, but I believe under certain circumstances the whole Christian faith can display some gnostic tendencies.

I don't want to speak for Shy, but I believe the point she may have been in agreement with is my specific point on meditation. If we are to meditate on all of God's works, praise Him for them, and at the same time think only on those things pure, lovely and of good report, we must reconcile His Work of Tormenting people in everlasting hell, with a good report, and not fail to meditate upon it praising Him for His goodness. How much do Christians actually do this? Do you? It is this point that is relevant to the debate, not the labeling of onlookers. Sincerely :)
