Hi groomwatcher,

Here is what I believe from Scripture has happened groomwatcher.

1 Tim 4:1
1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, (NKJ)

II Th 2:3
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
(NKJ)

I believe people (even Christians) have not understood the importance of God's Word in forming essential doctrine especially with regard to the true nature of God. The Bible implies that God is a Triune Being a Trinity in nature. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all being distinct deity in the God Being. Is that what you believe groomwatcher?

Of course all religions outside of Christianity don't teach the Deity of Christ. The are also groups that are psuedo-Christian, or cultic in their teaching about the nature of God. Some that come to mind are Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Christian Science, New Age, Unity School of Chistianity, Unitarians, Christadelphians and Oneness groups that teach the Deity of Christ but deny the Trinity.
What are your beliefs groomwatcher? How long have you believed as you do?
