Little see-are-a-pee (LOL!) was in "protection mode" at 6:00AM growling at some noise outside......her mamma didn't get much shut eye. She loves mango it's her favorite thing! She is so little, sometines a jelly bean sized goodie is too much. Just a tummy thing she just wanted to see if I still liked her. (yah sure!) She's sassing up the place this morning. Thank's for axing.

Did Toby have surgery? Is he picking at the stitches? Shih-Tzus are so sensitive. They melt when you even LOOK at them crossly. I'm sorry to hear that. Things itch when they heal and dogs hate foreign "things" on them.....plus if he was shaved for surgery, that itches too! Get him a shoe box to lay in or (Ming was 11 pounds) some small box....even a plastic container for washing dishes (what ever they are called).....they LOVE those too. Ming loved blankets and I knit and crocheted dozens for him. Sassy Frasse could care less, she just wants to be carried around. Rotton ani-mule.

We give puppies carrots to teethe on when they are cutting baby teeth. Just enough raw carrot to not cause GI problems. So when they are adults they run in the kitchen when I take out the veggie peeler. The rawhide chews can kill dogs when they get lodged in their gut. The vet said don't give them to dogs because they have removed too many. Toby may like a small piece of carrot to chew on to take his mind off his itch. Or a new toy.....he probably has a gazillion. One more never hoits.
