Jesus is also clearly Divine, as John declares in John 1:1;

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God!

Just as Thomas declares the Risen Christ to be his Lord and God in John 20:24-29, saying, My Lord and my God!, upon putting his fingers in the nailprints in Jesus's hands.

And as Peter declares Jesus plainly in 2 Peter 1:1, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

It is not neccessary that anyone fully understand the dual nature of Jesus Christ being both Divine and Human. What is neccessary, is that one agrees with God's Word that declares it to be so.

If one rejects either the Divinity or humanity of Christ, then they have rejected Jesus Himself.
