Hi Mondo on pagans,

Just because something is labeled PAGAN does not mean it is to be totally cast out.
Modern science and in particular- modern drugs and medical treatments came from the
Pagans also the start of chemistry. Physiology can be found in all the pagan religions and Myths as to proper
conduct and how a lady should protect her �personal� self and choose a good husband.
What the responsibility of man was to his family. ON and on of good things. Many
studied PEOPLE and how they thought and acted, so they made notes and no doubt some
smart Guru made a religion out of the knowledge. ( this is so common) So lets look at
the knowledge and forget the hokus pocus of the gods and zodiac BS. ALSO remember
that religion was a way to keep track things... Almost all could not write or read so they
used signs, stories, myths, rocks in a bag, or marks on a rock, to remember and
categorize ideas about life as they understood it. Look what they accomplished just by
watching the stars, the seasons and the Year was accurate to with in a 2-3 hours. The sun
dial and the hour glass was by comparing what they knew against what they did not
know. Even the leap year was figured out... I don�t think I could do that.

There is so much good that has come from the pagans that we just have to look for it, but
at the grass root of human development. Yes much stupidity also... so now we laugh at
them , but they did not, life was serious business and knowing how to survive was
practiced daily and they learned a few things and passed it on. Had they all died out you
and I would not be here today. Think about it.

In the light that we owe our physical existence to the pagans-- how do you feel about
that? I�m kind of thank full.
