The with any sarcastic or satirical statement there's the possibility of taking the statement literally. The point is, do people see the real meaning behind the use of the literary tool or to they see only the literal meaning. What makes the sarcastic side have meaning is when the literal side holds some "truth" - either real or imagined.

And to be honest, I hold biases against anyone who puts "titles" before or after their name. Sorta like "see how important and how much better I am than you." And even on a discussion board, none-the-less.

And I'm trying quite intentionally to not choose sides. Not as an accusation, but as an example: I have seen posts on this board and others where Jack, Gerard and a how of other have made direct accusations of others being evil, liars, etc. If a "non-believer" can site examples of how each on of these people is violating the same peoples that they claim to hold so dear, what does that really say?
