accusation against me, yet I have never said sin isn't a serious thing, nor have I said that retribution will not come. All I have said is that God's Will BE DONE! I have faith that He actually accomplishes that which He has set out to do. And for the life of me, I don't understand what your objection is except that it doesn't fit into your little paradigm. It states universal atonement in scripture. It is compatible with Grace instead of Works. And it is corrective judgement instead of punitive-teaching the world righteousness! Why do you hate the idea with such loathing? Might want to read Matthew 20.

The only reason someone would hate the idea that God actually saves all, is b/c it relies completely on the grace of God! THEY HAVE NO PART IN IT AND it is an affront to their pride! Autonomous freewill says that man actually contributes to his own salvation thus earning it. If he chooses correctly from his "freewill" he is better than the next guy has earned eternal life. If he chooses incorrectly b/c of his evil freewill he deserves eternal torment. It is a doctrine of works. Besides the fact that freewill appears nowhere in the Bible. In fact every time that exact phrase "will of man" appears (exactly twice- John 1:13 and 1Pet 1:21) man's will has absolutely no effaciousness!

And who said anything about eat drink and be merry?

It's all about Grace!

Sincerely :)
