The addition of Carla as Nikita's long needed girlfriend is really wonderful.

It moves the plot along without the need for silly tricks, but more than that it gives the Nikita the sounding board she's always in need of. And, of course, you are writing Carla and Nikita so well, that I really believe in this flesh and blood friendship. (((Leigh)))
