The Days Ahead Anguish is now three weeks away and Nikki Silver still is not sure who he will be facing in the main event for the Gladiator title. After Silver claimed the title at Too The Max President Johnny Storm has made it a mission to get Sebastian Bock a chance to regain the title. This situation is more then just the glory of the Gladiator Title. It is really about the power structure of the GWA as a whole. The Circle has controlled the GWA almost since its conception and now that Johnny Storm is in control he wants to put an end to the Circle's reign. Ironically one of the biggest obstacles in Storm's place has been Furious Steele who is also one of the greatest rivals of the Circle. Steele and Nikki Silver were a former tag team in the old SWA and it is still a mystery why they tagged then in the first place. Now Steele wants a title shot at Silver and plans on teaching Silver his final lesson as he puts it. Two weeks ago Storm may a number one contender match with Circle member Anthony Craven, Furious Steele, and Sebastian Bock. Storm obviously figured that this would be a stepping stone for Bock to "earn" another title shot. Storm banked on Craven being sent to take out Steele for Nikki Silver. The last thing Storm would have thought that would happen is Steele and Craven joining together and dismantling Bock in front of the entire world. Still no word on Silver's thoughts of Craven helping Steele gain the title shot. Last week Storm granted Bock yet another chance at the title shot when he face Bock vs Steele in a last man standing match. The match was one of the more violent in GWA history and when it looked like Steele was about to finish off Bock, Storm made his way to ringside and assisted Bock but before he could finish off Steele once again the unexpected happened and Goliath (now known as Scott) came down and made the save for Steele and sent Storm through a table. It has been long thought that Goliath has been in the back pocket of Storm. Is this a sign of Goliath and Steele forming a partnership or just a coincidence? This week The formerly known Goliath gets a title shot at Nikki Silver. What does Storm have planned for this match? Will the title change hands right before the PPV again? Is this all just a set up by Storm and Goliath to try to catch Silver off guard? What role will the rest of the Circle have to play? With what Goliath did to Storm it makes no sense for Storm to give him a title shot. Something stinks in the kitchen. In another match Bock and Joey Jackson team to face Crisis and Furious Steele in a forced tag match with last man standing rules. A lot of people are rumoring this match is in hopes that Bock can injury Steele and remove him from the title contention to open things up for himself. To top it off Goliath has been named the special referee for the match. This only leads to the conclusion that Storm and Goliath still have some form of relationship. Anguish is Three Weeks away Anguish is three weeks away and maybe after Insurrection the title pictures will become a little bit more clear. Maybe Storm's announcement at the top of the show will answer some of these questions. Who will Nikki Silver be facing for the Gladiator Title? What role will Goliath play in it? What does Johnny Storm have up his sleeve? We might not know the answer to these until Anguish. _____________________________________ [Scene opens with Tommy Bones driving his black Grand Cherokee through the busy streets of down town Chicago. It is around seven at night on a rainy night. Bones is dressed in black running pants and a black windbreaker that matches the pants. His blonde hair is slicked back in a ponytail. As Bones takes a sharp right corner he pulls out his cell phone and hits an auto dial.] Bones: Yo Leon.. What up? [Other side.] Bones: Good to hear. Yeah I set up a meeting with Steele and I should be there in about five minutes. Is there anything that you want me to ask him about? [other side.] Bones: Not a problem, and I am happy I can help you out with this. When my leg heals up maybe you can get me a try out match for the GWA and we will call it even... [other side.] Bones: Excellent.. You Da man Leon... I will have this tape to you before the sun hits the sky.. Later... [The scene fades out as Tommy takes another sharp right and heads towards the slums of Chicago. ] _________________________________________________ [The scene opens up in what looks like an abandoned home. Every window is broken out and most of them are boarded up. Tommy Bones is still in his same outfit and has a large metal flashlight in his hand and is cautiously making his way through the rundown building. Sweat pours down the face of Tommy as he makes his way up the stairs and lets out a couple of calls for "Steele" to come out.] Tommy: ok, this sucks... I am doing to die... [As Tommy makes his way back downstairs Furious Steele is standing at the bottom of the stairs with a lead pipe in his hands. Steele is completely drenched and his long straggly black hair is covering most of his face. He is wearing a worn long black leather duster, several stained blue jeans, and black army boots.] Tommy: I have been looking all over for you man. Where have you been? Steele: Making sure you were not followed... Tommy: just a little paranoid today Steele? Steele: This is a dangerous time in the GWA.. The power struggle taking place could very well destroy the foundation of the federation... It is in these times when the ugliness of every person rises to the surface and people do their darkness deeds.. There are people in the GWA who want the destruction of the Furious One... [Tommy sits down on the top of the stairs and looks down at Steele for a moment before speaking.] Tommy: So what is going on with you and Goliath? Are you two going to form some kind of tag team or partnership since the Union is now finally dead? Steele: Fuck Goliath.... Either he did what he did to get even with Storm to unsettle some unfinished business or he did it to try to get me to trust him. Neither of them are my concern.. If Goliath meddles in my business again he will receive another asswhooping at my hands... Tommy: You do know that he is the special referee in your tag match this weekend. Steele: Storm can bill the match any way he wants but in truth it is two matches happening at the same time. Joey Jackson and Crisis have their own war going on and I am sure they care little of the feud between Bock and myself... Crisis better just make sure he keeps Jackson business while I finally put Sebastian Bock to rest.... Tommy: Have you heard anything about what Storm has decided to do about the title shot? Steele: Storm has three more weeks to find a way to get Bock into that title match.. Three more weeks to find some kind of match that Bock can get the job done in for once...As far as I see it, I won the first match and with the last one being thrown out at a draw I still own the rights to the title shot.. Bock still has not won shit..... Bock still continues to drop the ball.... Bock still gets another chance to save face.... You look at the roster of the GWA and it is filled with people who have never got ONE chance at a title shot and Bock has received three in the past month... Johnny Storm wants to help his running buddies but it will catch up with him.. There are people in the GWA who are hiding in the shadows and watching how Storm does business and they are simply waiting for their chance to strike... Storm has no idea the kind of enemies he has made.. Tommy: Is Storm one of the people that you are worried about finding you right now? Steele: No Storm could have tried something like that a month ago but now he must destroy the Furious One in the ring.... Storm's image has been tarnished and his ego has suffered gravies injures... That is exactly why he will continue to put anybody he can think of into a match against the Furious One with the Survival of the Fittest Rules in effect.. Storm needs to destroy my legacy before he can get rid of me... The frustration for Storm is that he can do neither. The Assassin has failed and Bock has failed twice now.. After Insurrection Bock will have failed again... Tommy: My advice man is do not even show up to the match this week. It smells like a set up to me. Goliath attacking Storm last week and now he is the special referee in this match just does not make sense.. I think once you turn your back Goliath is going to stick a knife right between your shoulder blades and him and Bock are going to try to finish you off... [Steele slumps against the wall until he is sitting in a crotched position with his back resting against the wall.] Steele: I have survived in this business for seven long years. In that time I have went to war with everybody and anybody that got in my way. Hell the Circle and I have fought for over three years and I am still here.. Goliath, Storm, and Bock do not have what it takes to take out the Furious One... I am sure they have devised some kind of plan but I have plans of my own... Tommy: What do you think it is going to take to end this heat between you and Bock? It seems to get more personal every week. Steele: Bock is trying to use Storm to regain his lost glory... At the same time Storm is using Bock to try to do his dirty work and get rid of myself... Bock is just another loud mouth cocky punk that has had things handed to him his entire life because of his good looks and pretty smile... What he does not realize is that Storm will jeopardize the career of Sebastian to get what he wants... Last week Bock learned exactly what the Furious One is all about.. Even with Storm saving him he could not finish me off.. It is only a matter of time until Sebastian sees how Storm is misusing him just like the Assassin is beginning to see... Just like many around the federation are beginning to see.. Storm is a parasite that will use anybody he can until they have nothing left to give and then he will get rid of them and get another... Tommy: That is the business of wrestling. kill or be killed... Steele: Bock needs to step back and look at the big picture.. If Storm wanted to give him a title shot he could just do it.. He does not need to have any kind of number one contender match.. This all started when the Assassin failed at Too the Max and Bock lost his title... Storm saw a carrot to put in front of Bock to get what he wanted... Now Bock can not get the job done and will look like a bitch if he is just "handed a title shot".. Bock was put in a no win situation.. [Steele pulls back his black straggly hair and locks his eyes with Tommy. Steele's eyes are cold brown but you can see almost waves of chaos running through them.] Steele: Storm can continue to send his minion for me but all of them will be slain.. In the end Storm will have to face the Furious One on his own.. In the end Storm will have to face his fears and enter the ring with me... In the end only one will survive.. Storm or Steele.... Tommy: Where does Nikki Silver fall into this? You still have told me little about the past.. Everything has been pretty cryptic so far.. Steele: This other business must be taken care of first.. Nikki and myself know where things stand.. That is all that matters at this point... I will contact you in a few days and we will continue our talk.. Now I must go... Can not stay still too long... Tommy: But just one more question........ [The scene fades with Steele quickly making his way out of the building and disappearing into the night.]  |
