Random thoughts One week closer to Anguish and the title shot against Nikki Silver. Just another week of facing Sebastian Bock. I wonder if Bock is actually delusional or just that full of him self. He continues to talk about how nobody is at his level, but I got to say that right now I am happy not to be at his level. We have faced three times in the last month. Two of those times the match ended with me pinning his punk ass, and the other ended with a double count down with neither of us being able to go after multiple interferences. It sure seems that Storm will get him in that title match one way or the other. Speaking of Storm, this has to be some kind of sick joke hiring good old Jim Daher as the commish of the GWA. You might as well make Outlaw the head of security and fill the federation with everybody who hates me. Daher has said his piece and now it is my turn to respond. The game is not even close to over between us. How long until he comes out of retirement for a shot at Steele again. Once I get that title from Nikki, good old Daher can have a shot ANY TIME he finds the nuts to face me. It should be an interesting week in the GWA. Bock has new friends. Daher has new power in the fed. Steele gets a new shot at a title from Crisis. I guess Crisis never read the bio of Steele. There is a reason that I do not have any friends and you just found out why. I hate everybody. Once you are no longer useful to me I will destroy you for simple pleasure. This week I get a chance for a great honor in facing Crisis for the Olympic title in my own match. That just does not seem fair to Crisis. Crisis has been a great champion for the federation and now he is put in a match he can not win for a title he has defended so well. Maybe Storm has truly lost his mind. So many people to mention so little time. Can you feel it in the air though? Something big is going to happen. It is like the calm before the storm now. At Anguish the world will be turned upside down. Furious Steele Gladiator Champion. Something nobody wants to see.. Something everybody has been trying to prevent... Little Nikki, you will not have to wait much longer. are day is coming.. THE BIG APPLE [Scene opens in the subways of New York City. It looks like your typical subway car. Graffiti covers some of the walls and there are only a few people on the car but they all look like the kind of unique people you can see only in New York City. A guy with a huge Mohawk that is bright pink. Another man who is wearing a old women dress and has a big black beard that gives away his gender I think? Two women are making out in one of the corner and a old man is wondering to each person and trying to pan handle. Sitting in the middle of the car and looking pretty nervous is Leon Sphinx. He is wearing black slacks and a Red "GWA" jacket. Leon looks completely out of place because he is the only person close to normal. The car makes a stop and the pan handler gets off and nobody gets on. Leon is looking out at the lobby area for something but does not appear to find it. As the car takes off he gets on his cell phone.] Leon: Hey Tommy, this is Leon... He has not shown up. [Other side] Leon: Yeah I am sure I am on the right subway car. I have been riding around for almost two hours and I have almost been robbed four times. I am about ready to give up on this. [other side] Leon: Alright man, I will hang out for a bit more. Thanks for the heads up on the paranoid thing. That is the last thing I need is him going after me again. [Leon hangs up the phone and a good ten minutes go by and a few more stops until at a stop right as the doors are about to close a man in a long black duster steps out of the shadows and onto the subway car. The man is Furious Steele of course and his long black straggly hair is covering his eyes but the scowl on his lips is very clear. His duster is closed so all you can see is his black army boots and the bottom of his blue jeans. Steele has a black aluminum baseball bat on his side and cautiously approaches Leon before sitting across from him. The man in the dress was moving closer to Leon at every stop is now only a few seats away but after looking at Furious he decides to head to the back of the car.] Leon: You know I have been on this car for a few hours waiting for you? What took so long? I have been through that stop a half a dozen times. Furious: Shut up Leon... Your time is no concern to myself.... You have been given a chance to speak with the Furious One to help your television ratings.. Take your opportunity and be thankful it was given to you... Leon: ok then... Lets start with your match last week at insurrection. It appears that Joey Jackson and Sebastian Bock have formed some kind of alliance but you and Crisis came out on top after Goliath got involved and pounded Bock. Furious: Your skewed view of the events does not surprise me Sphinx. Your paychecks are signed by Johnny Storm after all. When this match was originally signed people could not understand what was going on. The rumor backstage was that this match was just a way to do the ppv ahead of time and have Bock and Steele go one on one and Crisis and Jackson could handle their business, but that was not the case. Storm used this match to try to set up Crisis and The Furious One to take the fall. Two men who have nothing in common and no love for each other against two men that are secretly allied. No if anything this was Storm's latest plan on trying to destroy the Furious One in his very own match. As for Goliath he did the rare thing in this organization. He did the fair thing... He called the match right down the middle and stood up for himself.. Sebastian Bock can not win when things are not tilted in his favor... Another week goes by and once again Sebastian Bock ends up laying at the feet of the Furious One.. Bock still has not done anything to desire a title shot except stroke something of Johnny Storms. Leon: Alright I want to move onto later in the card. Bock, and Jackson came down and may have cost Scott Adams aka Goliath a chance at defeating Nikki Silver for the Gladiator championship. Why did you come out and save Adams? Furious: Adams could have easily sold out to the powers that be and turned on myself and Crisis as the ref and made sure that we lost the match and ended up on the injured reserve. Backstage Storm tried several times to bribe Adams an he stood for what was right...It was a simple matter of paying Adams back, unfortunately it was too late.. Storm had some of his guards waiting backstage for me when Bock first came out of to the ring and it took me too long to fight through them... Leon: What do you know about Jeremy Maddox? Besides that he is allied with Bock and Jackson, and of course that he blind sided you and Crisis.. Furious: Everybody takes a beating now and then. The difference is that I am not going to whine like a bitch about it like Bock has done for the last month. They out maneuvered the Furious One but they made a crucial mistake and did not finish the job when they could.. All three of them will get what is coming to them sooner or later...Once they let down their guard the Furious One will be there to stick the knife into their back.. What do I know about Jeremy Maddox? He is another follower that Johnny Storm has drummed up to help Bock in the war he is so badly losing...We will see what Maddox is about when it is his turn to take the pain... Any thug can thump heads.. A very few can actually take the thumping and still stand up for themselves... Only time will tell on Maddox... Leon: In that match Crisis can down and helped you save Adams and after both of you took a beating from Bock, Jackson, and Maddox you proceeded to nail Crisis with the Hand Full of Hate for NO reason. The guy came out there to help you for crist sakes. Furious: Once again such a skewed view on reality.. Crisis came out there to get a piece of Joey Jackson.. If anything he should be thanking the Furious One for winning our match for him.. He surely was not getting the job down... Leon: But why attack him for no reason? Furious: Everybody is the enemy Leon... As far as you know the next second he would have slapped on his finisher and tried to end my career... If he is not strong enough to defend himself he got exactly what he deserved... Leon: What about this week? The two of you have been signed to face in a Last Man standing match for the Olympic title. He is demanding this match for what you did to him. Going into Anguish picking up this title could give you that little extra boost to put you over the top. [Steele springs across the walkway and grabs Leon by the throat and gets face to face with him and speaks in a very quiet voice.] Furious: Does it look like the Furious One needs an extra boost? [Leon struggles to speak as oxygen is cut off from him.] Leon: n, no.... no... my mistake.. [Steele slowly backs away from Leon and sits back down.] Furious: If Crisis wants to take on the Furious One in Survival of the Fittest then we will dance, but the title is not on the line as far as I am concerned... [Leon clears his throat.] Leon: You don't want a title shot? Furious: There is no doubt of the prestige of the Olympic title but with it comes the shackles of responsibly.. If I were to capture that title it would give Johnny Storm more leverage to control my destiny.. This match is not about gold anyways.. This is about two warriors entering the arena to see who is the superior... Be ready to suffer Crisis.. This will not be for the weak of heart... Leon: Are you concerned about Bock and his goons trying to take you out during this match? Furious: They will make their presences felt without a doubt. Certainly our new commissioner will do nothing to stop them from coming down. Daher would like nothing better then seeing the Furious One get his ass kicked.. Most likely because he could never do it himself.. Leon: So your saying Daher will not do a fair job. Furious: No what I am saying is Daher is a pawn to Storm.. Added with the fact that Daher has got his ass kicked from arena to arena by the Furious One for the last six months he will try to get his revenge.. Daher, that title will not save you from my wraith... Real soon you will be seeing the Furious One up close and personal.. Leon: I do not think it is smart to threaten every person in power in the federation. Furious: That is because you are a coward Leon..That is no threat though.. That is a promise... Daher had his chance for security and he did not take it.. Nothing can protect him now... Not retirement.. Not a commissioner role.. Not a fucking Army... I OWN Daher's ass now.... He will be my toy of amusement to punish whenever I see fit.... Just like the Outlaw will be my toy once the title is around my waist.... Expect I will not punish the Outlaw.. I will teach him what it takes to attain greatness. I will form him into the greatest creature of destruction that the world of wrestling has ever seen... Leon: Only a few weeks until you face Nikki Silver and I still have not got the full story of what happened in the past from either of you... What do you got to say on it Steele? Furious: You will be contacted in a few days with an address.. Meet me there and you will get your story.. [The subway comes to a stop and Steele makes his way out of the car. Leon starts to follow him but Steele turns around and gives him an evil stare, and Leon takes a seat. The scene fades with Steele disappearing into the shadows of a hallway.]  |
