Author: Furious Steele
Subject: A little jail time (Storm, and upcoming match??)

[Scene opens outside the Tallahassee Florida jailhouse. Gary Howard is standing outside with his camera crew and a police officer. Howard is wearing black slacks and a black "GWA To the Maxx" t-shirt. The officer of course is in full gear. It is mid-afternoon on a hot summer day with blue skies and most of the people walking around in shorts and tank tops.]

Camera Man: three two one.... Action.

Howard: This is Gary Howard with a special GWA inside report. Last week after Insurrection the backstage area became total chaos. Between the AW arriving in the federation and the tension they caused and Furious Steele going absolutely berserk. I am standing in front of the Tallahassee police station today because of how out of control Steele became. I was on a road tour at that point but here is the information I gained about the events of that night.

[Howard pulls out a notebook where it looks like he has scribbled some information.]

Howard: It started shortly after Steele's match with Skylar Thomas. Steele first forced his way into the referee dressing room and assaulted Ben Dreven who was the ref working his match. Dreven is right now hospitalized in Tallahassee General with a several concussion from having his head bashed against the metal lockers and several lacerations but it did not end there. Arena security arrived shortly and protected Dreven from more serious harm and Steele reportedly went after the security and after an ugly struggle Steele fled the building.. The information that I have is a couple of guards were sent to the emergency room for stitches and were released that night. That was not the end of the night though.

[Howard flips the page on his notebook.]

Howard: When President Johnny Storm's limousine arrived to pick him up Steele was outside the building waiting for it. Steele ambushed the driver and assaulted him with a lead pipe and then bashed the limo into a crumpled pile of metal. The local police were called and arrived minutes later as Steele was finishing with the limo. This here is Officer Thomas Brady with the Florida police department. He was the first at the scene on Wednesday night. Mr. Brady can you tell me what you saw on that night.]

[Officer Brady steps into the camera view. He is a young cop no older then 25 with slicked back blonde hair and Oakley sunglasses on. He has the demeanor of the young cocky cop who just got his gun.]

Officer Brady: On the night in question I arrived at the Doaks Campbell Arena at about twenty two hundred hours on a 911 call about a disruption in the parking lot. When I pulled in I saw a man who I immediately identified as Furious Steele.. I am a HUGE GWA fan ya now.

Howard: Always great to hear.

Officer Brady: Mr. Steele was standing on top of the remains of a black 2002 Cadillac Limo. When he saw the police lights in jumped from a top the vehicle and sprinted towards the Doaks arena and tried to force his way in. My partner and I called for more backup and proceeded to approach Mr. Steele and to get him under control. Mr. Steele had blood on his hands and face and had several gashes on his arms and face. Mr. Steele continued to try to enter the building and would not respond to our direction so we LIT him up like a Christmas tree..

Howard: Uh, and what exactly does that mean?

OfficerBrady: We tazered his sorry ass. Five or six hundred thousand volts usually makes people a lot more open to listening since they ain't doing shit for the next 15 minutes. After the first shock Steele turned his full attention towards us and attacked my partner with the lead pipe. My partner disarmed Mr. Steele but during it Steele hit him with some brass knuckles that we had not spotted and broke my partners jaw. At that point Steele got a few more jolts from the tazer and was incapacitated until back up could arrive.

Howard: Is your partner ok?

Officer Brady: Ya Willy will be ok but he is out of action for a few months until he heals up. Willy will be fine a long time before Mr. Steele is. Around here we don't take lightly to people assaulting officers.

Howard: Which is a good thing for sure.. What kind of charges are Furious Steele looking at?

Officer Brady: The GWA has still not formally charged him but trespassing, a half dozen or so first degree assault charges, destruction of property, assaulting an officer, resisting arrest, and a few others. Unless Mr. Steele has a hell of an attorney and by looking at his clothes that does not seem likely he is going to get up to 15 years in the deepest hole we can find for him..

Howard: Is there any chance I can meet with Steele?

Officer Brady: Well Steele has not done well since his arrival to our facilities.

Howard: What do you mean?

Officer Brady: He was originally put in the general population but that lasted about ten minutes before he had got everything revved up into a frenzy. Steele went after a few inmates and a guard so we put him in solitary confinement and now he is on enough valium to kill a horse. He was completely out of control and was a danger to the guards and quite frankly himself.

Howard: So how is he doing now?

Officer Brady: He is been doped up for the past few days and has been pretty much drooling on himself.

Howard: Christ it would be the easiest interview I ever had with that SOB.. Can you get me in?

Officer Brady: I will see what I can do.

Howard: Excellent. Thanks a lot for your time. Here are two front row tickets for the next time the GWA is in town. They also allow you backstage access.

Officer Brady: Thanks.

[The scene fades with the two of them shaking hands. The scene reopens in a plain room with only a desk and two chairs in it. Gary Howard is sitting in one of the chairs still in the same get up. Furious Steele is handcuffed to the other chair and his legs are shackled to the floor. Steele's long black hair is slicked back and for the first time you get a close look at his face. His eyes are closes and it looks like he has not shaved in a week but the one thing that really stands out about his facial features are how many scares he has. He has several fresh scares but they rest on older ones that rest on older ones. Steele is in the jail orange jumpsuit with "432564554432" printed on his chest. The other thing that stands out about Steele is that he has no tension in his body for once. He still does not look happy at all but he is just slumped into the chair and looks to be struggling to keep his head up.]

Howard: Hey Steele, can you hear me?

[Steele's head nods up and down a few times but he does not respond.]

Howard: Hey Steele. Wake up... I want to ask you about last week at Insurrection.

[Steele flops forward and his head lands hard on the table with a thud. ]

Howard: Come on Steele. I want to talk about why you went after Johnny Storm...

[Steele is motionless for a bit and then slowly puts his hands on the desk and pulls himself back in the chair. His brown eyes slowly open but they look glazed over and can not seem to focus. Steele speaks very softly with almost no emotion in his voice.]

Steele: Fuck Storm...... Fuck the GWA...... and Fuck You..

Howard: Yeah, you are really tough right now big guy.. Do you have any idea what kind of trouble you have gotten yourself into this time. Past GWA presidents have smoothed things over for you because you have made them rich but I do not think Storm is going to pull any strings for you... Especially since you just tried to attack him..

[Steele rolls his neck a few times and closes his eyes for ten seconds before reopening his eyes. This time they are still glazed over but he seems much more aware of his surroundings.]

Steele: Lets put it this way Gary.. Storm for put Steele in a match against the AW and now he can not get somebody else to replace me so either he can watch his crew get their ass kicked four on three or he can bail Steele out and get him to the match.

Howard: Why would he bail you out?

Steele: The Furious One is his only chance at destroying the AW at Insurrection. Storm made that match for one reason and that is to hurt members of the AW. The people Storm put together are not all good wrestlers but they all know how to hurt people. Storm may be a bastard but he knows what he is doing.. Winning this match is not really important to either side but is more the cherry on top.. This match is about two organization sending a message to each other. The AW wants to come in and kick ass and show they are for real and the Egos of the GWA want to put the AW in their place. This match is the first encounter of the war. This is were the morale will be decided for the weeks to come.. If the GWA can pummel the AW into the ground it will begin the end for the AW.. If the AW can dominate it can be a pedestal for them to climb quickly up the ranks of the GWA... Johnny Storm knows all of this and he knows what the Furious One is capable of.. So it becomes very simple. Either Storm watches his company take a serious hit or he takes a serious hit in the wallet and forks out the money to free Steele.

Howard: What are your thoughts about the AW guys?

Steele: The AW was another failed federation that dreamed of rising to the top of the industry like the GWA has.. This is a smart move by this four to come into the federation and use their failed company as a ploy to get some notoriety for themselves and a chance to make a quick name for themselves in the company. I have seen no real footage of them and have not heard of any of them but there is no doubt that they have some talent otherwise Storm would have not considered them enough of a threat to give them the main event at Insurrection...

Howard: One things they do have in their favor is they are a team. All of them are on the same page. Are Jackson, Lindsey, Goliath, and yourself going to be on the same page if you can get bailed out?

Steele: Jackson is untrustworthy because of his blood line owning the AW.. Lindsey is insane at best.. Very dangerous at time but who knows if it will be to his team or the other.. Goliath is an over grown worm that will not go away. He is blessed with ability but lacks mental toughness. He is the only team player on the GWA side though.

Howard: So can you pull these guys together?

Steele: The way I see it is there is seven men in that match for me to beat the hell of... If anybody on my side gets in the way I will take them out. Once Steele arrives at the match the rest of them better pay heed and leave.. The Furious One has had a very bad few weeks and once I am freed and undrugged I am going to start hurting people.

Howard: Steele, you have been in this business for seven long years now and this is by far the best interview you have ever given me. You actually answered the questions clearly and you did not give me a hard time about everything. I think you should consider using valium when you are released..

[Steele leans forward and looks at Gary Howard intently. His eyes are still glazed but you can see him trying to fight the effects of the drugs.]

Steele: Gary, when the Furious One gets out of here. You are going to get your ass beat too..

Howard: (smiles) First you got to get out of here...

[The scene goes black as Gary Howard leaves with his camera crew and guards come in to escort Steele back to his solitary confinement.]
