Subject: Afternoon Gossip (Sorry folks for the crapiness of this. Ill be better next time snoops)

[Shadow joins Cleo for a afternoon lunch at her place while Sianna and Caprice are busy together for the day. They eat a small meal while catching up on the latest going on in the world today. She treads lightly until she decides that she must know why Tony has been quiet these past days over the whole thing the week before. He gets up from her kitchen table and they proceed to her living room as she starts to question him.]

Cleo: For someone to make a big splash last week at Insurrection last week you sure have been quiet this week. You have not said one word about your match with Snoops? You are actually thinking that you might have acted out of haste last week by going after Snoops and Dryden? You think you might have been suffering from a momentary lack of judgement?

[Shadow looked at her with a cocked brow as his hands were folded under his chin.]

Shadow: Truth of the matter is, if I felt I acted out of haste though men would be dead right now. They talk about how my attacks were uncalled for or that I deserved them or what ever. They talk about me being in the wrong? When those men nearly put me out for good? Yeah I know I’m being a bit dramatic about it but tell me Cleo, what man do you know could get beaten down before a big match and still compete at his top level to only not lose but get attacked once again by some unknown freak and carved up mind you. Then to top it all off get attacked once again more vicious than the first time and left bleeding in the hallway and not retaliate for it? What man would survive it? I for one don’t understand how Snoops feels he was showing Sianna that I was wrong for her. Who in the hell has been with her for the better part of 3 months and stood by her side no matter what? Who went through the high points and the low points with her and even though so many were quick to point a finger at her for my failure, still take all the blame for himself . Who in the fucking hell was there when she needed someone the fucking most?! It sure as hell wasn’t his bitch ass!! He turned tail and ran before he even got close to her? Yeah that’s how a fucking knight in shining armor acts huh. Act like a coward and jet out of here?! Hey I owned up to treating her like shit, I said I was wrong for doing it, I said I was a true and utter asshole for doing it, but I completely changed to please her to show her how much she meant to me. And the one time in quite sometime that I think about myself, that I have my sights set on something I want he wants to call me no good for taking the opportunity? Yeah I’m the big bad Bastard for doing that. Yeah I took advantage of pinning her when I had the chance? Did I screw her out of the opportunity for the Olympic title? Hell no. Yeah she knew I wanted it bad but I never told her to never win it if she had the opportunity. Not once. Hell she took the chance when she could till I broke it up. But would I have been pissed if she won it? Hell no, as long as it’s away from Crisis it’s all good.

[Shadow pauses for a moment and chuckles to himself.]

Shadow: Granted I wanted it bad, proof is I fought the punk three times to win it and came up short each time but I never went in trying to screw Sianna.

Cleo: But he may be talking about the week before the match when you two were not together.

[Cleo said as she took a seat across from him.]

Shadow: What about it?

Cleo: Well you made it seem you would win by any means necessary.

Shadow: And what’s wrong with that? I’m sure as hell if he was in the same situation he would not just give her the belt, let her take the pin when the time came? If he says he would he’s a damn lie or a bigger moron than I thought he was. Ain’t no way someone no matter what the circumstances were would just let someone else win unless they had to. Sianna gave it her all, I gave it my all even Crisis gave it his all and he won for it. Yeah we had heated words during the match but does that mean I care for her any less? Hell no, and if she had just let me win I would think less of her. So forgive me when I want to win something so bad, excuse me for being human, but if he ever talks about how bad I treat her then he better take a good long hard look in the mirror cause he’s doing more damage than good.
Cleo: Why you say that?

Shadow: Well it seems to me all these damn fools that keep coming after me and her keep telling her I’m no good for her that I’m not worth her time, that I’m such a big loser that I’ll bring her down. They are doing the exact things they attack me for. Crisis went to talk to her about how I was all wrong for her. And yeah I’ll admit I was wrong for blowing my top at her for it cause like she said she had no control over it. Everyone can say well she could have kicked him out and maybe that’s her fucking weakness that’s she’s too nice but Crisis found out after that, that when you cross her you pay the price. Still I came back to her and apologized for how I acted. Then Snoops makes his big return beats me down and says how wrong I am for her? And now he’s spreading rumors about me with some other chick before he left? Well let me stop that before it goes anywhere. Since I’ve been here in the GWA only chick I’ve been in the sack with has been Sianna and her only. No one else, just her and if memory serves me right, she jumped my bones not visa versa. But of course to everyone I’m the bad guy in everything.

[Shadow got up and stood by the doorway. He grinned slightly and shook his head before looking back at Cleo.]

Shadow: I know I must sound like I’m repeating myself over and over again babe, but it’s just that it’s funny the good guys of the GWA are acting more like the bad guys than I am. Yeah I attacked people from behind but what do you expect form me, I’m a hood, a thug, a lowlife or what ever you want to call me. But then they do the same and say it’s justified because I am no good for someone. How fucked up is that? They either run from her, attack her, torture her or what ever and I stand by her side and I’m the one wrong for her? Can you figure that babe?

[Cleo shrugged her shoulders and shook her head no.]

Shadow: I thought not. But hey that is how life is. But make no mistake when I step in that ring with Snoops tomorrow I’ll show that punk how bad I really am. He thinks what I did to her last week hurt, He hasn’t seen a damn thing yet. This isn’t for revenge, or for Sianna or even because I just don’t like his bitch ass. It so I can show him that I am someone to worry about. I’m not some punk who will run because the great and mighty Snoops came back. Hell I’ve been waiting to get at him since he ran away anyways. This is my first opportunity to show him what I got. But just so he knows, after the match ends it’s still not over between us. Not by a long shot. I already still have Crisis in my cross hairs along with his buddy Dryden, Snoops will just and to the names on my Shit list. He thinks I’m a bastard? He thinks he has me figured out? He’s dead wrong. And that will cost him. I’ll prove to his bitch ass how much of a Bastard I truly am. Win or lose I’ll make him feel what the Sahdowman can do.

[Shadow starts to leave Cleo’s apartment but she stops him before he goes.]

Cleo: What about Dryden though? You still got him to worry about and from what I heard he’s not to keen on you or Sianna or any of the Circle folks on that hand? Aren’t you worried about watching your back?

[Shadow looked at her with a wicked smirk on his face.]

Shadow: Let the freak comedown and mess with me. He’ll be signing his own death warrant. He thinks he’s a sick individual. He hasn’t seen me at my best or worst yet. But if he wants to play games with me, then I’m all for showing him how much a sport I really am. Like I said with Snoops it’s not over by a long shot. But in the end I will be the one coming out on top.
