Christine Nelson was the voice of "Sarah Jackman" on Allan Sherman's legendary recording of that same name. She also had her own Warner Brothers album called "Didja Come To Play Cards Or To Talk," from which her own legendary song "Marvin" came. (Dr. Demento's listeners know that song well.)

Cathy Carr had a very sweet voice and a huge hit back in the mid-50s (1956?) called "Ivory Tower." It's interesting that someone mentioned Gale Storm here because Gale had a competing version. (Both did very well.) Cathy also sang another hit, "First Anniversary," in 1959 I believe.

I was wondering if these two performers are both still around.
