The experience of having sprung from a stationary position to that of mobility, which demanded speed as well as agility (fields that he was not particularly blessed in), his foot lost hold and he ended up having to lean heavily on one side in a tilt to avoid tripping over his own limbs and making a fool out of himself in a dramatic fall.
