I am trying to put together a book on the experiences of people at Lowdham Grange Bortsal (Lads, Officers, wifes and kids who lived on the estate) to supplement the official image.

Do you want to share your experiences and views of the place? If so send me an email about your experiences - I will keep identities private and just use your initials and rough dates. It would be useful to know when you were there - even if you just say '1980's' and which house you were in. I am happy for you to mention names but I will anaonymise everything.

so what were your experiences? how did you feel, what where other people like, what were relationships like, the work you did what did you learn, have you been anywhere else and how did it compare etc, anything that you would like to say. Could you also please pass this on through your other contacts so that I can get together as much as I can from the 'lads' and all other perspectives Also what did you think then and looking back do you think any differently.

I am writing a local history book on Lowdham Grange at the moment but only have official sources, views such as yours may form part of this or a follow up, the working title of which is 'Voices of Lowdham Grange' . ps have you heard of a guy called 'Meda' who was there in the 60's?
