hi there, my name is rick thomas, I was in Hatfield 1959/60, I worked at Grindly farm for a short while, I also briefly worked in the kitroom, yes I was one of the kitroom girls!!! I then went on to the coke pile with a lovely guy from the Wolverhampton araea whose name escapes me, we had a brilliant summer together, we were our own bosses, we were left to our own devices, we just got on with the job, then I joined the painting crew, what a laugh that was, seriously, taught me a trade, 4 years after I came out I was employing 20 plus guys
>I've never been in trouble with the law since( just the odd speeding ticket!), Sad to think, if we had committed the crimes we were in for then, today, we would get community service , ah well such is life. If any of you are still around 57 years later........, I'm now 78, 3 kids, who all know my history, I've had a brilliant life, its what you make of it, Rick Thomas
