Subject: gayneshall borstal Author: michael taylor (mixed emotions) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:36:21 01/19/16 Tue I was in gayneshall borstal between 1977-78 i found the time i spent there was reasonable and somtimes enjoyable i remember when we broke into the canteen and hid our loot and the screes found it the next day but we had plenty of burn for the rest of the week,i remember a sad time which haunts me still a young lad was brought in with acute anixiety screaming lnconsolable'for his mum and dad and he died of an heart attack i was told after being strangled by another inmate by the showers the animal.does anyone remember this poor kids story and his name.
