Any one in Rodney from 83-84, I was the house orderly for a few months.
Screws were Mr stone,Mr Pratt, Mr blewitt, SO brown and his brother, also a Mr wensley, I think that was his name,he was a white shirt SO . The PO was an old fat fella with a bald head, he went mad at me one day for going upstairs for a lay down mid morning when I should've been making him a cup of tea.
There were 2 Asians there called Aklam and Kiami. Lots of taffs, sexton, keating, George from Slough, nice bloke, and some fat fucking headcase from Slough who was in the idiots cell with the low bed and soft corners. He freaked out cos I gave him a pink shirt when he wanted green or grey for his visit. I managed to front him down and then got him his grey shirt with a 17inch neck. Lots of Bristol and Reading boys there. The bloke in the next cell was on the farm and he used to come back stinking like cow shite. He was from frome. There was a boxer from South wales, paul his name was, very fast hands. I was in Rodney 7 months and it was really pretty good, no fights good laugh with all the piss taking in the tv room. There was a Scott's lad who was very effeminate, apparently had womens knickers on when he got arrested and that followed him all the way to portland. It's funny what little details get remembered after 33 years.
