Hi mate, i was there to, it was the whole system at the time. The officers were hand picked, non were nice, if you made a minor mistake like for instance forget to say sir then rarely were you not hit. I think they were all ex army and made the excuse we were all scum so treated us as such. Laugh is most of the officers were messed up themselfs and probably beat their wifes. Always remember, violence only creates more violence and the habit is hard to break.
