Hi Pete, yes, I knew Mary Ellis very well, stayed in touch until she died. A few weeks ago I did a search and found an obituary mentioning her work. Unfortunately I did not copy and paste it and it now seems to have disappeared. When she came to the dept of criminology in Cambridge we often met up for dinner, she liked Chinese restaurants. I am writing a book on How Adoption can go Wrong. Feltham was full of people that had previously been in care and so Feltham has a few chapters. The time I am writing about Feltham is from 1969 to 1971. If you think you might have something to add I would be pleased to hear from you. Kind Regards and Best Wishes. John.
