i was in portland borstal in 79-80 transfered to guys marsh for the last 10 weeks of my time. guys marsh was a holiday camp compared to portland. i was in raleigh house at portland and cambria at guys marsh. i also spent time at campsfield house in 77 and blantyre house in 78. ashford remand home too. i spent several years in and out of institutions/prisons and now hold a responsible job. the consequences of my childhood and youthfull rebelion still manifests itself in my life at times , but now i am aware of the damage these places did too me. basically i believe you have too let go of the pain of the past and move on. if anyone would like to correspond or discuss any thoughts etc. plz respond.
