Do you also remember the midnight raids between dorms, and the fighting with our boot boards, and towel rails, I remember a lot of boy's doing runners from there, but I also remember most of them getting caught and brought back, with extra months to do, I was tempted once or twice, but never did.....
I can remember getting paid 60 pence a week, and blowing it all on sweets on a Friday lunch time in the bond, as I was a non smoker which helped in these circumstances, some of the boy's used to save there dog ends and roll them again on a Tuesday or Wednesday when they had ran out of baccy, Can you remember the boy who snored loudest, used to wake up surrounded by boots, shoes, towel rails ect which had been thrown during the night to keep him quiet!!!!!
