Hi, I was in Polmont in 1970 then onto Cushy Cornton vale til late 1971. First 10 weeks were a nightmare and remember getting a thumping for not calling "The General" SIR. (the governor). Also remember "GOD" the PE freak who had a problem with guys form Maryhill. and a weak- chinned, chicken-livered plonker screw called Shepherd. There was a time when this one was not safe crossing the road...... BUT something happened that changed me. I am happy that I am well out of the system. I am now a businessman and a church minister. I educated myself and currently doing a masters degree. So Raspp to the man!! Anyone remember "The wee man" from Cornton Vale?
