The stage bulbs go out but you never see them come back on when the rear tires go through the beams..The stage bulbs should have went out when the front tires left the beams and then they should come back on when the rear tires roll through the beams..Never happens..Can you say dragging the blanket? Something under the car was to low..The run is bogus. The guard beam is not functional.

I have a new, never been used Reactor flywheel. We went a different direction and didn't use it. It had the bolt marks on it when we mocked up for the starter. Bolts were only slightly hand tighented. It has 168 tooth and 8 bolt flange. Manufacturing date is 11/07. -- Lawren Jones, 16:29:19 04/17/12 Tue

Terry Harrington (RU) 4.948 at 137 mph (.029 RT)
Battle of the alternates. Neither of these cars made the top 8 but both filled in for cars who qualified & was unable to answer the call for first round. Doug set low ET of the race so far. He told me later that he tried qualifying with beadlocks and when he was asked to fill in he put the liner tires on and hauled @$$.
Chuck Poindexter (W) 4.804 at 130 mph (.018 RT)
Randell Reid (RU) 6.309 at 72 mph (.250 RT)
Not sure what Randell was thinking about on the starting line but he left way late and then broke the rearend. Chuck cruised by for the win.
Gaylen Smith (W) 3.917 at 180 mph (.056 RT)
Jay Ligon (RU) 5.476 at 86 mph (.022 RT)
Gaylen on another consistent run while Jay was having problems.
Doug Riesterer (W) 4.559 at 135 mph (.190 RT)
Chuck Poindexter (RU) 4.654 at 144 mph (-.043 RT)
Chuck red lighted and Doug shook.
Gaylen Smith (W) 3.909 at 188 mph (.128 RT)
David Baldwin (RU) 6.456 at 71 mph (.061 RT)
David Baldwin aborted shortly after take off and Gaylen cruised by on another consistent run.
Doug Riesterer (W) 3.759 at 193 mph (.190 RT)
Gaylen Smith (RU) NT
After the semi's Gaylen and crew found carnage in the engine diaper and was unable to make final round. Doug tried something different since he was on a single and I'd say whatever he did worked cuz he blasted off a personal best ET. Congratulations to Doug Riesterer for the win coming from the outside all the way to the winner's circle. Congratulations to Gaylen Smith and team TBH on their runner up finish as well.
Be sure to get a sign up form at the front gate tonight for the drawing. The WINNER will get in FREE the rest of 2012! Turn in the form at the Pit Concession stand box. Good luck! -- Texas Raceway, 16:16:54 04/13/12 Fri
