Rockingham or Bust........ -- Mrs. TBH, 13:05:41 09/07/11 Wed
James Dean just pulled out of the parking lot in Mansfield, TX heading to Rockingham, NC to go play with the ADRL boyz. We had a great outing with the car at the BHRA Nationals at Kennedale so we are expecting to pick things up where we left off (hopefully) and improve. The weather conditions look good so we will see what he's capable of. Wish us luck! Brandon, be safe!

Texas Raceway August Results and Photos -- Photos by Toyse, 12:09:13 08/21/11 Sun
It was another record-setting, 107 degrees, Hot Texas Summer Night at Texas Raceway both on and off the track. A Big Texas welcome to Jim Dudley and that sharp-looking Orange Nitrous Camaro who made the pull from Missouri with Jerry Hunt trying to take that Texas Money back. Sixteen Out Law Pro Mods rolled into Texas Raceway and fifteen gave the track their best shot, thank you to Bubba Corzine and Track Crew for a job well done on the track surface. This is how they wound up after two intense filled qualifying session filled with Oil downs, fires, shaken, rattling and lane swapping.

* denotes Supercharged
ROUND 1
David Baldwin .075 4.366 @ 160.71 WINNER
Michelle Wilson .060 6.674 @ 76.95
HT set Michelle's 10.5 tire'ed Firebird on Kill because it hiked the front end up and was spitting sparks until it move to close the center line forcing Michelle to lift handing the win to Mr consistent Baldwin 63 Corvette.
Doug Riesterer .043 4.057 @ 176.58 WINNER
Jim Dudley .045 4.499 @ 152.47
We rarely get two ADRL Pro Nitrous car at the same race unfortunately they paired up in the first round. Both cars were stuck together spewing header flames until about three hundred feet when the Mad Scientist, Doug Riesterer, Reher Morrison powered 68 Camaro shot past for the win.
Gaylen Smith .057 3.969 @ 171.34 WINNER
Eddie Roach .010 4.558 @ 158.37
Eddie knew what he had to do when he came up against Gaylen Smith's HelAir, cut a killer reaction time but unfortunately the HelAir ripped and snorted fire to it's fastest elapsed time of the night.
Jerry Hunt 53 Studebaker .175 16.302 @ 31.34
Randall Reid 68 Camaro FOUL -.008 4.121 @ 177.23
I do not really know what happened here all I saw though my tiny world was the rusty stude went up on the trans brake after they both had all the bulbs on, Randall left and Jerry idled up the track.
ROUND 2
Doug Riesterer .110 4.080 @ 178.14 WINNER
Jerry Hunt BROKE
Jerry no showed in the lanes so they could not fix what ever was broke.
Mad Scientist Doug Riesterer sailed up the track with both pipes lit.
Gaylen Smith .103 3.973 @ 176.40 WINNER
David Baldwin .090 5.194 @ 95.98
Giant Killer Baldwin who put a light on The Bounty Hunter last month and won was not able to repeat the task and shut off when the HelAir passed him at sixty foot lights to set up an all LenMar final.
FINALS
Gaylen Smith .090 4.060 183.52 WINNER
Doug Riesterer .031 4.147 177.88
The Bounty Hunter 57 versus the Mad Scientist 68 Camaro, Screw Blown versus Bottle fed, weather and track conditions makes this a pretty evenly matched, last time these two meet Doug was the winner.
Doug had they advantage on the starting line but could not keep hold of the track, pedaling several times, must have been a close race on the top end because the Helair ran the Fastest Mile per Hour of the night, 183.52.
Thank you to all the Fans and Racers that came out in the Heat to Support Texas OutLaw ProMods and Texas Raceway.

First Round:
Bill Doucet (W) 4.101 at 175 mph (.052 RT)
David Baldwin (RU) 4.428 at 148 mph (.039 RT)
David had the starting line advantage but couldn't hold off the hard charging Vette at the hands of Bill Doucet.

Eddie Roach (RU) 4.514 at 158 mph (-.017 RT) Red light
Eddie knew he was going to have to leave first but he left a little too soon giving the automatic win to Pizza Joe who made another great run.
Tim Cruce (W) 8.893 at 77 mph (.318 RT)
Jerry Hunt (RU) No Time
Jerry was shut off due to an oil leak during the burnout. Tim left the starting line and got in his own oil dripping off the valve covers and blew the tires off and coasted thru for the win.
Gaylen Smith (W) 4.417 at 137 mph (.237 RT)
Marty Neely (RU) 4.548 at 155 mph (.556 RT)
Both drivers were dead late leaving the line but it was Gaylen coming away with an ugly win. Electrical problems still a problem on the '57 Chevy.
Semi-Finals:
Pizza Joe Palmisano (W) 4.543 at 119 mph (.121 mph)
Tim Cruce (RU) No Time
Now Tim was backed off the line due to an oil leak (still coming from the valve covers). Pizza Joe took off and lifted shortly after launch on his solo run.

Bill Doucet (RU) 4.629 at 124 mph (.047 RT)
Bill left first but then encountered traction problems and Gaylen was on a better run still facing problems with the electronics.
Finals:
Gaylen Smith (W) 4.102 at 180 mph (.128 RT)
Pizza Joe Palmisano (RU) 4.103 at 178 mph (.200 RT)
What a final round! It was a great close race.
Congratulations to Gaylen Smith and Team TBH/LenMar for their win. It was a difficult night with the electrical problems but Gaylen, Brandon and the crew overcame them.

Radical Race Gear -- Chase Huffman, 15:45:58 06/22/11 Wed
I was contacted by Ralph “Butch” Lamb, formerly of Advanced Race Wear and RH2way, in early December 2010 to do design work for his new established crew shirt apparel business, Radical Race Gear. I had previously done design work for him when at Advanced Race Wear, partnership with his ex-wife and ex-father in-law, after his falling out with Brad at RH2.
When contacted again by Butch I laid some guidelines out, how design process and payment would be made. All was good, work flowing greatly, everything going as planned and talked about. That was until April 2011 came around, Butch was “out of town” and could not send payment as originally agreed, and going off good past payments as well as working relationship, I went ahead with design process as requested. I have still yet to be paid on over 8 shirts designs.
Also, during whole process I had subcontracted Butch & Radical Race Gear to print a few shirt orders that I had personally sold. Knowing that he used an overseas printer. I did not like the idea of using another overseas printer after previous experiences with them. I went ahead with the orders, the new printer had showed strong quality control and had contacted me if any problems arose in designs for Butch. I received all 7 orders that I placed, and yet only 1 of the orders were correct to the design proof that was also sent with all artwork. Some orders missing letters, whole words, logo placement and dimensions changed, colors not correct, and sizing off. I was told by Butch that he would contact supplier and get straightened out and get back with me.
I have sent numerous emails, made numerous phone calls and nothing from Butch or anyone at his company. On Monday June 20th we sent another email knowing I would not receive an answer. I finally received an answer via email that same afternoon and was told that I was not going to get paid and that the shirts that were printed wrong were now our problem and since we submitted the art we accepted the shirts. Butch and Radical Race Gear have informed that I would not be paid for all back invoices because I stopped work. Work was halted due to no payment as per our agreement of ½ amount to start design and ½ at customer approval.
I also have been contacted by unhappy customers of Radical Race Gear as well as Advanced Race Wear personally due to the same lack of communication that Butch & Radical Race Gear and Advanced Race Wear (when he was there) have displayed.
This is a warning to not do business with Butch Lamb & Radical Race Gear! Many customers have told me that once they paid him that he would not return phone calls or emails
